The 2018 Subaru ERock Sunrise to Sunset is designed to offer recreational and competitive cyclists the opportunity to compete in a fun and rewarding 12 hour endurance race on a moderately technical off-road course. Register as an individual or form a team that loves to shred for a memorable day of racing, cameraderie and laughs.

Taking place again at the freshly cut trails of the Philip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock, this amazing $30M facility offers the perfect endurance mountain bike venue less than a mile from the Primal Colorado Bike Expo and Subaru Elephant Rock Cycling Festival.  The playful and flowy 6.5 mile course is cut into to the hills and drainages surrounding the park and offers ample viewing from the staging area for team members and spectators.

The race will start at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2 and will end at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Walk-on registrations will be accepted on Friday, June 1 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and on race day from 5:30 a.m. – 6:30 a.m. We encourage all racers to arrive early. A pre-race briefing will be held at 6:45 a.m. at the start line.

Chips will be issued at registration and should be attached to the front fork.  Every racer will have their own chip assigned to them. The chip must be returned after the race in order for times to be considered “official”.

The event will supply complimentary refreshments and tasty bbq to all registered riders, courtesy of Resque Joe’s BBQ, Proud Souls Barbecue & Provisions and Pikes Peak Brewing Company.  Friends and family may purchase additional meal tickets for $12 onsite and partake in the feast.

We strongly urge you to leave your pet at home during this event as the environment will not be super conducive for your furry friends. Please inform your friends and family about this policy as well. If you still choose to bring a pet, they are to be leashed at all times as this is state law. If any pet causes a problem on the course, the pet and its owner will be asked to leave for the duration of the event. Pets will not be allowed in the finisher party area due to health codes and food service. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Awards will be presented to the top 3 teams/solos in each category. Prizes and recognition will also be granted for best team name, best costume, best decorated bike, best team spirit, best team tent / village, best team promotional photo and last but not least – best bike beard! This will include medals and prizes from our great sponsors.

In addition, to further support the Colorado High School Cycling League, Sunrise to Sunset is excited to announce that a $500 scholarship will be award to the 1st place team in both the 4 & 5 Junior Only categories. These scholarships are made possible by the generous support of Helix and HumanCode.

No awards will be mailed following the event, so please check the results to determine if you are a category winner. All awards will be presented shortly after the results are posted during the awards ceremony. Random prize drawings will be held during the awards ceremony, so everyone can be a winner!
